Our goal at Westminster is to provide an atmosphere of fun and excitement. Some of the activities provided at Westminster include:
 
- Bingo Fast paced and full of action, our bingo activities are always well attended. Come join us for the laughter and competition of this ever popular game.
- “Sit and Tone” is geared for residents of all physical fitness levels. As the name implies, we remain in a seated position, while focusing on both upper body and lower body exercises.
- Exercise At Westminster House we focus on enhancing the total well being of our residents. We have several options available for maintaining a sense of physical fitness, and maintaining overall well-being.
 
- “Class with Clay” Facilitated by a Certified Fitness Expert with a Personal Trainer designation, this class focuses on a more intense workout incorporating weights and other machines as well as everyday items to boost ones fitness abilities.
- “Chair Dancing” Like to dance? We teach a variety of popular dances such as the Brazilian Samba, the Caribbean Calypso, to the Viennese Waltz all from the comfort of a chair. This is a fun activity for our residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Come and let the music move you!
- “Water Aerobics” We have a heated, indoor pool and whirlpool for resident use during scheduled class times. Water aerobics promotes a low-impact exercise option which also promotes increased flexibility and balance stability.
- “Nintendo Wii” Who knew exercise could be so fun and competitive? We incorporate the use of the Nintendo Wii into our exercise program because of the aerobic and mental stimulation it provides. Games such as Wii Golf, Wii Bowling, and Wii Boxing, are popular choices among residents.
 
- Bible Study We are pleased to offer two non-denominational bible services. With also have a weekly Catholic communion service.
- Sunday Church Service We also offer a Sunday church service in our chapel.
- Friday Night Entertainment We offer twice monthly Friday evening musical entertainment! From Elvis impersonators to down home county and western to the “golden oldies”, we have performers sure to please all musical tastes.
- Other Musical Entertainment We have many other musical opportunities from professional piano players to church choirs to local performance groups come in to perform for our residents.
 
- Arts & Crafts Each week, we bring a new craft project for residents to enjoy. Whether we paint a piece of ceramic or make a new door wreath, we always have something fun to create or decorate. Crafts are great for socialization and for manual hand dexterity.
- Trivia at Westminster House, we believe we should stimulate our minds and our bodies. So, we offer numerous activities to stimulate our minds! We post daily trivia questions, as well as schedule weekly trivia games.
- Picture Puzzles Another popular activity, picture puzzles combines art appreciation with the idea of creating popular phrases. This is a great activity for mental stimulation.
- Daily Tea Time Care to join us for afternoon tea? We offer a daily afternoon snack consisting of a variety of hot and cold beverages and a choice between finger sandwiches or regular and sugar-free desserts. Tea Time is also a chance to socialize with friends and neighbors.
 
- Lunch Bunch Enjoy eating out? We take scheduled trips to local eateries across the area to experience a wide variety of cuisine types.
- Let’s Do Lunch Prefer to enjoy experiencing new cuisines from the comfort of home? We provide a monthly catered lunch from local restaurants.
- Movies Do you enjoy movies and freshly popped popcorn? We show weekly movies in our on-site theater. Bring your favorite soda and we provide the popcorn.
- Billiards/Board Games We have a billiard room and board games available for use at any time of day or night. We encourage residents to get together to mingle at their leisure. We also schedule these activities to increase awareness and participation.
 
- Special Events At Westminster House, we believe life is an ongoing adventure. Our activities program is in perpetual motion. We offer new activities each month.
